Jefferson City man charged with statutory rape, sodomy
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Jefferson City man was charged Friday with first-degree statutory rape and first-degree statutory.
Raymond Bryson, 42, was already in the Callaway County Jail for a failure to appear warrant. The bond for that warrant is $2,000, according to jail records. A court date and bond for the sexual assault charges have not been set.
In May, an 11-year-old victim said in a forensic interview at the Rainbow House that they were raped several times by Bryson since they were 8 years old, according to the probable cause statement. They were unable to verbally describe all of the events, but elected to write out what happened.
Bryson denied the allegations.
