Tracking another night of frost, rain chances next week

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows in the lower 30s. Widespread frost possible.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the mid-60s.

EXTENDED: A Freeze Warning is in effect for the eastern half of Mid-Missouri tonight into early tomorrow morning, with a Frost Advisory elsewhere as temperatures drop into the lower 30s overnight. Tomorrow is warmer during the day with highs in the mid-60s. Clouds start to roll in tomorrow night as winds shift back to the southwest, pulling more moisture. That will keep temperatures in the 40s by Monday evening. Several disturbances will ripple through the jet stream this week as upper low pressure settles across the region. We'll see chances of rain off and on between late Tuesday and Thursday. A stronger low pressure system just to our north will bring a cold front through the area between Friday and Saturday, bringing our best chance of measurable rain for the week. Temperatures will be in the low to mid-60s during the day through the work week, with lows falling into the 40s at night. We'll start next weekend off with lingering showers and highs in the upper 50s on Saturday.
