Tracking a pleasant start to the work week with more storms on the way

TODAY: Mostly sunny skies, and a high of 65. Winds will still be blowing strong at 15-20 mph from the NW, with gusts of up to 35 mph.

TONIGHT: Winds will be calming down significantly, blowing at about 5-10 mph from the NW. Temperatures will be dropping down into the low 40s.

EXTENDED: Tracking scattered chances for thunderstorms, starting late Tuesday night. Along with these first few rounds into Wednesday, we're tracking temperatures getting up into the mid-70s and possible 80 degree weather Wednesday. These storms will be rather weak, but we have higher chances for a stronger storm system to move through the area on Thursday. This comes along with a cold front that is going to cause our temperatures to drop back down into the mid 50s and low 60s. Right now this storm system on Thursday is tracking to move through just after 1 PM, and if that is the case, we shouldn't be concerned for any severe or hazardous weather. If this system slows down though, this is where we could see more problems.
