Tracking severe storms through early evening, big cool down coming overnight

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and breezy with scattered showers possible. Lows in the upper 30s to around 40. Gusty winds up to 30 mph.

TOMORROW: Few showers and mostly cloudy with highs near 50. Breezy with gusts up to 40 mph.

EXTENDED: Storms are expected to exit Mid-Missouri between 7-8:00 p.m., with much cooler air moving in behind the cold front. Gusty northwest winds drop temperatures into the upper 30s to around 40 by tomorrow morning. Sunday will be gloomy and chilly with highs in the upper 40s to around 50 and scattered showers through early afternoon. Thankfully, our spring like temperatures return on Monday as we return to the mid-upper 60s, We'll get back into the 70s by Tuesday, but another disturbance will bring a chance of rain and a few storms Tuesday night into Wednesday. As a warm front lifts overhead on Wednesday, temperatures warm into the upper 70s. A cold front moving through Wednesday night into Thursday will bring the potential of thunderstorms, and some could be strong across parts of southeast Missouri. As rain clears out on Friday, we'll cool back into the lower 60s.
