Tracking strong storms possible tomorrow

TODAY: Friday is the last of the warm and dry trend we've been witnessing all week. Expect a high near 80 again today, with mostly sunny skies and a light southwest breeze. There may once again be another window of elevated fire risk this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Clouds will increase overnight as showers and storms approach. These will first pass through during the early morning hours on Saturday but are not likely to be severe as they will weaken before they arrive.

EXTENDED: Temperatures hold near 60 for a warm start to Saturday. Highs again climb to near 80 before storms start in the afternoon, this time carrying a severe risk for damaging winds and hail. For more details, check out our Insider Blog, here. Showers and clouds stick around for Sunday, keeping temperatures in the 50s at best. Monday is warmer, in the 60s, under sunny skies. Sunshine keeps us a few degrees warmer on Tuesday, and we continue to warm into rain chances and near 80 degree temps by Wednesday and Thursday.
