Tracking a cold front that brings storms and cooler weather

TODAY: Friday is the last in our warm and dry trend we've been witnessing all week. Expect a high near 80 again today, with mostly sunny skies and a light southwest breeze. There may once more be another window of elevated fire risk this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Clouds will increase overnight, and showers and storms approach. These will pass through during the early morning hours on Saturday, but are not likely to be severe as they will weaken before they arrive.

EXTENDED: Temperatures start near 60 for a warm start to Saturday. Temperatures climb to nearly 80 before storms start in the afternoon. A cold front will pass through from west to east through the afternoon, bringing a line of storms with it. This will bring us a chance for severe storms. For more details, check out our Insider Blog, here. Showers and clouds stick around for Sunday, keeping temperatures in the 50s at best. Monday is warmer, in the 60s, under sunny skies. Sunshine keeps us a few degrees warmer on Tuesday, and we continue to warm into rain chances and near 80 degree temps by Wednesday and Tuesday.
