Lake Ozark man arrested following chase, vehicle crashed in loading ramp

LAKE OZARK, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Lake Ozark man was arrested following a Monday chase that ended with his vehicle crashing into a loading ramp, according to a social media release from the Miller County Sheriff’s Office.

Timothy Crowley, 38, is being held at the Miller County Jail on a $75,000 bond, according to the jail’s online records. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest by fleeing. A court date has not been set. The sheriff’s office said Crowley was also wanted for a parole violation.

Deputies tried to stop a green Subaru Outback – driven by Crowley – Monday on Highway 54 near Lake Ozark and Crowley allegedly drove into the median and onto Allen Road to get away.

Crowley allegedly continued drive fast through Midway Road and through the yard of a closed business. The Subaru crashed into a concrete loading ramp and Crowley ran away in a wooded area, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies took him into custody. While searching Crowley's property, deputies allegedly found fentanyl and methamphetamine.
