A woman who was charged after her baby allegedly overdosed is facing more charges.

Jessina Pedroza, 29, has now been charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance of 35 grams or less and three counts of possession of a controlled substance. A $20,000 bond was set for those charges.

She was charged Thursday with first-degree endangering the welfare of a child. She is being held without bond at the Boone County Jail. A confined docket hearing is set for 1 p.m. Thursday, April 13; while a preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 9.

Columbia police executed a search warrant Wednesday at her residence in the 3400 block of Crossings Drive, according to a probable cause statement. Police allegedly found bags containing fentanyl, cocaine, oxycodone, Loratab and pills.

For the child-endangerment charges, court documents say Pedroza brought her son into the hospital after he was not breathing and unresponsive in December.

The child was resuscitated after he was given Narcan. A blood test allegedly found fentanyl and painkillers in his system, according to the probable cause statement
