ROSEVILLE, Calif. (AP) — A spokesperson for a Northern California hospital says least three people have been hospitalized with unknown injuries following a possible shooting. It was not immediately clear whether they had gunshot wounds or other injuries, or if there were other victims. An officer with the California Highway Patrol said Thursday a suspect had been taken into custody but provided no other details. A large police presence had descended on a park in Roseville for what the local police department called an “active law enforcement situation.” A police dispatcher said earlier the department was responding to a shooter but said no details were immediately available.
