LOS ANGELES (AP) — Pat McCormick, the first diver to sweep the 3-meter and 10-meter events at consecutive Olympics, has died at 92. Her son, Tim McCormick, says his mother died Tuesday of natural causes in Santa Ana, California. McCormick won the springboard and platform titles at the 1952 Helsinki Games and repeated the feat four years later at the Melbourne Olympics. Greg Louganis equaled McCormick’s accomplishment at the 1984 and ’88 Olympics.
