Tracking a spring-like weekend

TODAY: Clouds increase early in the day due to moist southwest winds. These could gust near 25 mph and will be the driver of a dramatic warmup today. We start near freezing before leaping to the mid-50s in the afternoon. A stray sprinkle is possible early evening from a minor disturbance but most should remain dry.

TOMORROW: That disturbance exits and takes clouds with it Sunday, opening the door for even warmer conditions. Highs brush near the 60 mark and winds will still be breezy, but lower than Saturday.

EXTENDED: Much of the workweek looks cloudy will low chances for rainfall. The first showers could arrive Tuesday, though the greatest window for rain chances comes Wednesday. Overall Mid-Missouri is not in the crosshairs for rainfall this week, leading to low totals generally below 1/2". This won't impact temperatures much either, as most of the week is trending above average in the 50s.
