KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes returned to Kansas City’s divisional playoff game against Jacksonville after halftime, bouncing onto the field on the balky right ankle that was heavily taped during the first half. Mahomes was hurt late in the first quarter when he moved up in the pocket and Jaguars pass rusher Arden Key landed on his ankle. The All-Pro quarterback managed to make it to the end of the quarter, when the Chiefs training staff wrapped his ankle, and then led his team to a field goal. He was replaced by Chad Henne, who led a 98-yard touchdown drive. Mahomes then returned for the first series of the second half.
