Tracking mild temperatures to start the work week

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with patchy fog developing overnight. Lows in the upper 20s to around 30.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly sunny with highs in the mid-50s.

EXTENDED: Sleet has melted thanks to sunshine today, so no problems expected overnight. Some patchy fog is possible tonight as temperatures dip into the upper 20s to around 30 with light winds. Tomorrow is beautiful as temperatures get into the mid-50s with partial sunshine. A few more clouds are expected on Tuesday as a weak disturbance rolls over the area, but we still manage to make the low 50s. Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week with highs in the upper 50s to almost 60 before a cold front moves in from the west late Wednesday night into Thursday. Precipitation is expected, with rain favored at this time. However, temperatures have been trending a bit cooler for this time frame, and given the timing of the system there could be a mix or snow at the onset. This is a change from what we were seeing over the last few days so we'll keep an eye on it. We'll end the week in the lower 40s behind this front, but the weekend looks pleasant and warmer, especially by Sunday.
