Tracking a substantial cool down

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the mid to lower 20s Thursday night as winds remain breezy out of the west at 10-15 mph. Skies remain mostly cloudy with a few light flurries possible.

Tomorrow: Friday afternoon only sees highs climb to the lower 30s as winds remain strong with gust out of the west up to 30 mph possible during the afternoon hours. Skies remain mostly cloudy.

Extended: Saturday sees cooler highs once again back into the lower 30s with partly cloudy skies and winds out of the northwest. Sunday will see a shift in temperatures heading towards a slight warming trend as highs reach into the upper 30s. Monday and Tuesday sees a low pressure system which will bring chances of a wintry mix. The exact type of precipitation is still questionable as surface temperatures are still looking to remain just above freezing during the afternoon hours. Another factor is the amount of moisture in the environment. Currently both of these factors are limiting the possibility of accumulation. The second half of next week sees a more substantial cool down with chances of snow Wednesday night into Thursday.
