Springfield man charged after three killed in crash

Three people died in a crash in Springfield on Saturday.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Andrew Lynch of Springfield hit a vehicle at a red light. He then failed to yield and struck another vehicle, pushing it into the path of a third vehicle.

Those who died in the crash include 19-year-old Braeden Seabert of Watseka, Il., 41-year-old Jamin Seabert of Reeds Spring, Mo., and 39-year-old Kimberly Seabert of Reeds Spring, Mo.

They were all pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Green County Sheriff’s Office, Lynch has been charged with eight counts, including three counts of second degree murder. He is being held in the Green County Jail with no bond.
