Crews work crash on Highway 54

Two people are in serious condition after a crash on Highway 54 in Miller County on Friday.

Timothy Carter was flown to University Hospital and Delaney Burns was taken to Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis.

The Miller County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that the wreck happened at Lakeland Road. The post calls it a “major accident.” Highway 54 was down to one lane, and drivers are being detoured to Route W.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F tweeted that it was an injury crash.
