Santulli family settles settles with last defendant in lawsuit filed in January

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The family of Danny Santulli and lawyers have settled with the last defendant in the lawsuit filed in January and the case is now closed.

Santulli was left disabled following an alleged hazing incident at Phi Gamma Delta in 2021.

Harrison Reichman was sued in September shortly after a settlement was reached with Alec Wetzler and Samuel Gandhi -- making him the last defendant. This came after the family settled with 23 defendants who were sued in the original lawsuit.

Lawyer David Bianchi said he was not able to provide a value for the settlement. However in May, Bianchi said the family had more than $1.6 million in medical bills.

Wetzler has a court appearance for next week. He is the only former fraternity member not charged with hazing.
