Woman dead after drowning at Truman Lake

A woman is dead after drowning in Benton County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol incident report, Rebecca Feese, 33, tried to wade across what she thought was low water near Truman Lake. Feese was swept downstream on Balke Road.

Doctors pronounced her dead at a hospital.
