Weather quiets down, rivers swelling back up following weekend rain

TONIGHT: We’re tracking the exiting area of low pressure this evening– this may leave us a spot shower in the morning but for the most part we can expect to stay dry. Temps drop into the upper 60s .

MONDAY: Morning clouds will slowly filter out leaving us with sunshine through the afternoon hours. Temperatures creep into the upper 70s and low 80s by tomorrow evening.

EXTENDED: The weather will stay mostly quiet throughout the week. A weak disturbance will track through Missouri late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning which could bring a couple of storms to parts of Mid-Missouri. That system looks fairly quick to move out. At this point, it looks like we’ll be able to hold onto more sunshine this week, so that will help temperatures actually feel a little more summer-like. Rivers will slowly rise through the middle of the week back to major flood stage following this weekend’s rain.
