One arrested after short pursuit in Boone County

A short vehicle pursuit in Boone County led to one arrest early Sunday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, troopers received calls about Kimberly Roberts, 47, driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 from the 114-mile marker shortly after midnight Sunday. Roberts reportedly corrected herself and began driving eastbound in the eastbound lanes.

When troopers attempted to stop her, Roberts initiated a pursuit near the 121-mile marker.

According to troopers, Robert was stopped on I-70 Drive Southwest.

Roberts is being held in the Boone County Jail for driving while intoxicated on a $500 bond.
