Boonville inmates face drug charges

Two Boonville Correctional Center inmates are now charged after they were allegedly found with drugs in the prison.

According to court documents, prescription drugs were found on May 20, hidden in a letter addressed to Ronnie Stephens, 34.

Earlier on May 9, Eric Conley, 49, allegedly had another man throw a package over the fence. Investigators said they found cocaine, marijuana and more than a pound of tobacco in the box.

Both men are charged with delivery of a controlled substance.
