Investigation underway to find cause of Camdenton house fire

The Mid-County Fire Protection District and the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s office are investigating the cause of a Camdenton house fire.

Firefighters responded to the home on Round Table Drive in the Camelot Complex around 9:08 a.m. Tuesday.

The Mid-County Fire Protection District said around 30% of the home was damaged by fire, smoke and water.

No one was at home at the time of the fire.

Emergency crews were able to clear the home at around 11 a.m.

So far, the cause of the fire is unknown.

The Osage Beach Fire Protection District and Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District helped MCFPD fight the fire.
