Christ Lutheran Church will host first ‘Talent at the Tower’ on Friday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Christ Lutheran Church is hosting the "Talent at the Tower" on Friday at Paquin Tower.

The event will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. and will feature art crafted by 200 Paquin residents.

Canned goods and personal hygiene items will be collected at the door for admission. Financial donations are welcomed.

Paquin Tower provides low-income housing for individuals who have disabilities and seniors aged 55 and older. The ADA-Accessible building -- located at 1201 Paquin Street-- has 200 units.

According to a news release, the event was created to raise awareness for the Paquin community.

The event will feature the artwork from Paquin residents and a speech from Paquin Towers Director Pastor Tim. Cookies and refreshments will be served, and guests will have the opportunity to meet some of the local resident artists.
