Power restored to nearly 300 customers in Moberly

Power was restored to nearly 300 customers in Moberly on Sunday morning.

According to Ameren’s outage map, the outage first started at around 5:30 a.m. Sunday and was fixed at 9 a.m.

Moberly Police Department tweeted about a crash on Business 63 north of the Moberly Correctional Center. The post said one car hit an electric pole at around 1 a.m.

The post also stated “Ameren UE is responding to the scene to stabilize the electrical pole.”

ABC 17 News has reached out to Ameren and is working to find out if the power outage is related to the crash.
