Weather Alert Day: Isolated storms, flooding possible this morning

ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day continues through Thursday morning for the continued threat of flooding rain.

Showers and storms have begun to fill in across Mid-Missouri, bringing the potential of heavy rain. Flash Flooding will be the primary concern into the morning.

Many locations saw 3-4″ on Tuesday, with another 1″ possible by Thursday morning. With an already saturated ground, a Flash Flood Watch continues into Thursday. Always remember, turn around don’t drown. Never try to drive through flooded roadways.

River flooding will be a problem by the weekend with crests over the next few days on local rivers. Minor to moderate flooding is expected all along the Missouri River.
