Weather Alert Day: Severe weather threat decreasing

An ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day will continue through 5AM as storms start to decrease in intensity.

SYNOPSIS: Scattered thunderstorms continue to bring a small hail and gusty wind threat to parts of the area, especially along I-44 at 2AM.

THREATS: Heavy downpours, small hail, and gusty winds continue through 3-4AM before the severe threat diminishes.

This storm system will continually change as the ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team receives and analyzes more data. We will be updating the Insider Blog, as well as providing additional information in our newscasts.
