Dennis Gates lands 2023 four-star big man
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Dennis Gates continues to build up his class of 2023 as landed another key piece Wednesday afternoon with a commitment from Greenville, South Carolina four-star big man Jordan Butler.
The 6-foot-10 forward chose Mizzou over both South Carolina and Auburn during a ceremony at his high school, Christ Church Episcopal.
Butler is ranked as the nation's No. 102 prospect in the 2023 class and the nation's No. 16 center joining forward Trent Pierce and point guard Anthony Robinson on the verbal commits list.
Butler's older brother John Butler Jr. played at Florida State, where he was coached by Mizzou's assistant Charlton Young.
