In a Facebook post, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office described an event where a threat was made at a Randolph County School. According to the post, on Aug. 30, Randolph County deputies, Moberly Police Officers and Missouri State Troopers responded to the school in reference to the threat. The post did not clarify which school.

Help from the Federal Emergency Management Agency is available for households or individuals in 26 Missouri counties after flooding and tornadoes. Homeowners in those counties can apply to receive assistance rebuilding or replacing their property if they were impacted by severe weather. Columbia police are investigating a shots-fired incident on Ridgeway Avenue near Donnelly Avenue. Police said they were already in the area for another call when the shooting happened.
