Memorial Day celebrations underway in Columbia

Levee east of Keytesville breaches

Within the last few hours, Chariton County emergency officials have announced that the levee east of Keytesville has breached. According to a Facebook post by Chariton County E-911, Highway 24 just east of the Chariton River will shut down in approximately 10 to 12 hours. Concert Inside the Walls relocated

The Concert Inside the Walls featuring Dennis DeYoung and the Music of Styx will be relocated to the Jefferson City Jaycee’s Fairgrounds, according to a news release from the event coordinator.
