A Columbia man is dead after the car he was driving Friday night ran off the roadway in Boone County. It happened in the 4700 block of Old Mill Creek just before midnight. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office said 53-year-old James Gonzales was driving southbound when he missed a curve and drove off the road.
