Officers found the body of a 27-year-old Cyle Christopher Crowleyshortly before 10:00 Tuesday morning in the Hinkson Creek bottoms east of Providence Road in Columbia. Someone noticed Crowley’s body while walking near the creek, and found him lying in a tributary.

A string of brazen burglaries has an East Columbia neighborhood one high alert. At least three break-ins have happened within the last month in the East Ridge Park neighborhood off of St. Charles Road. All of the burglaries have happened in the middle of the day.
