Man dies in Higbee garage fire

An investigation is underway into a deadly fire in Higbee. The fire happened in a garage on on Burton Street at around 7 p.m. Thursday. The victim is 55-year-old Michael Farmer of rural Moberly. 61-year-old Mike Coulston was injured in the fire and was life-flighted to a Columbia hospital where he’s listed in good condition.

Fulton man arrested for pot

One man was arrested Friday for having marijuana. Fulton Police and the MUSTANG Drug Task Force searched a home at 9 Callaway Drive Friday and found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the home. 41-year-old Charles Webb is charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Webb was released on summons and charges
