A Mexico, Missouriman was convicted of child sex crimes late Thursday, according to the Audrain County prosecutor’s office. Thomas Miller, 49, was found guilty of child molestation, statutory sodomy, child abuse and endangerment charges. His sentencing is scheduled for September 19. Troopers say a Monroe County woman is dead after getting hit by a train. The accident happened Thursday evening southwest of Madison. Investigators say Christy Mitcham, 40, of Madison failed to stop for an eastbound train and was hit. Her vehicle flipped and Mitcham was thrown from the car.
