Fire damages golf cart, outbuilding and boat in Osage Beach

OSAGE BEACH, Mo. (KMIZ)

Osage Beach Fire Protection District responded at 8:42 p.m. to a report of a golf cart on fire next to a boat.

Emergency responders received a second call about another fire that was determined to be the same incident.

Officials say crews were on the scene within seven minutes of the initial dispatch.

Upon Engine 12’s arrival, they had found a golf cart, an approximately 35-foot boat and a small 10x15’ shed well involved with fire.

Officials say the bulk of the fire had placed two large propane tanks and two residences in danger less than 20 feet away.

In a Facebook post, officials say firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire and prevent any damage to the residences.
