BOONVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

Pinnacle Regional Hospital posted on its Facebook Page Tuesday that workers are backlogged with requests for medical records.

The hospital said employees receive about 300-350 requests a day.

Pinnacle is adjusting the hours for workers to receive records requests. According to the post, workers will accept medical records requests out of the emergency department until Jan. 30. After Thursday, requests will be accepted and handed out between 9 a.m. and noon on weekdays.

The hospital closed its doors on Jan. 15 citing "economic hardship."

Hospital officials are looking for a partner who can take over the medical records for the next 10 years.
