“Massive damage” from house fire along Wilkes Blvd. in Columbia
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Columbia Fire Department was seen battling a house fire along Wilkes Blvd. in Columbia on Saturday morning.
10 fire trucks and cars, one medical vehicle and multiple Columbia Police Department cars responded to the 700 block of Wilkes Blvd. around 1:35 a.m.
According to fire crews on scene, people were present at the house when the fire started but no one was hurt. Crews said the fire caused 'massive damage' to the house.
ABC 17 News crews saw multiple fire trucks at the scene along with firefighters spraying water onto the roof of the house where smoke and sparks were present.
