Tracking a few isolated strong storms this evening

TONIGHT: Scattered thunderstorms. Some could be strong with gusty winds and isolated large hail. Storms clear out by midnight. Lows in the upper 30s.

TUESDAY: Partly to mostly sunny, highs in the mid-50s.

EXTENDED: Another low pressure system to our south slides by Tuesday night into Wednesday, bringing the potential of steady rainfall and embedded thunderstorms to Mid-Missouri on Wednesday morning. As this front lifts north, more rain will be possible into Thursday. Temperatures both Wednesday and Thursday will be in the low to mid-60s. We get a brief break on Friday before the chance of rain returns on Friday night into Saturday. Temperatures will be noticeably cooler by Friday into Saturday, as we fall from the low 50s to mid-40s for highs. A few snow showers will be possible early Saturday across northern Missouri, but temperatures look too warm at this point to bring that into the forecast for much of Mid-MO.
