Tracking a few showers Saturday, mild weekend ahead

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool. Lows in the mid-50s.

SATURDAY: Increasing clouds with a few showers possible by late afternoon into early evening. Highs in the low to mid-70s.

EXTENDED: Showers exit Saturday night with some clouds leftover heading into Sunday. Temperatures will be slightly cooler than average and it will be much less humid with northwest winds. Highs remain in the mid-70s for Sunday. Early next week, the jet stream begins to lift north, pulling in warmer, more humid air from the south each day. Temperatures climb from around 80 on Monday to near 90 for much of the week. Rain chances remain slim until the end of the week and the upper level ridge begins to break down.
