Tracking chances for storms this weekend, along with plenty of dry time

TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy with an isolated shower or storm possible. Lows in the low to mid-60s.

SATURDAY: Partly to mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid-80s. Humid, with a spot storm possible.

EXTENDED: The upper level pattern will still feature southwest flow, giving us nearly daily rain chances through the next week. Temperatures are expected to remain above average despite the chance for storms, reaching the 80s each day for the next week. This weekend, we'll remain mostly dry on Saturday with not much forcing to get any storms going. By Sunday, a disturbance will enter the region and trigger scattered showers and thunderstorms, some of which could produce heavy rain and isolated gusty winds. Rain and storms become more organized into Monday and Tuesday as a cold front moves in, but temperatures aren't expected to change much. Rain amounts by Monday night will range between 0.5" and 1".
