Cool but dry Sunday

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy but could see some sunshine a couple of hours after lunch. Highs are in the middle 40's.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers after 3 am. Lows in the middle 30's.

EXTENDED: Monday morning we could see some spotty showers around in the morning hours lasting through the afternoon hours. These showers will be very spotty and some areas will see no rain at all. Tuesday overnight into Wednesday morning we can expect to see a more widespread rain system move in along with some potential thunderstorms. These will last through most of Wednesday. Thursday is something we have our eye on since thunderstorm development looks likely but there are some factors that may limit the growth of these storms that we will be looking into. With all of the rain headed our way we will continue to monitor flooding risks since we could accumulate another 2-3 inches of rain by the end of the week on top of the already saturated ground. Heading into Friday the rain should be cleared up and we will finally see some sunshine that will last into the weekend.
