Gradually warming through the next several days

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with lows in the mid-20s. Wind chills in the mid-upper teens overnight.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and warmer, highs in the low to mid-40s.

EXTENDED: Patchy fog may develop Thursday night with warm air flowing over our snow covered ground, but clouds thicken into Friday as a weak disturbance moves to our south. We remain dry between now and the weekend, and temperatures soar into the mid-50s by Sunday as an upper level ridge of high pressure dominates our weather through early next week. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day look quite mild, with temperatures approaching the upper 50s. Rain looks to hold off for most until Christmas Day or later in the week.
