One last warm day before cold, wintry weather returns

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with lows in the mid-30s.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy and not as windy with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s.

EXTENDED: A cold front moves through the area Friday night into Saturday, dropping the temperatures into the upper 30s for highs on Saturday with the potential for a few rain and snow showers during the day. The night stays quiet into early Sunday morning before our next low pressure system brings wintry weather to at least parts of Mid-Missouri Sunday into Monday. The exact track of the storm is still in question, but a wintry mix is possible for some, along with accumulating snow for points north of this dividing line. The time frame for precipitation will be Sunday afternoon into Monday, impacting the morning commute and road conditions will need to be monitored closely. Stay with ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather for the latest details as the weekend approaches.
