Warm stretch lasts through Thursday

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows in the low 30s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and nice, highs in the low 50s.

EXTENDED: The mild stretch sticks around as the jet stream stays a bit farther north over the Midwest through Thursday. An area of low pressure will slide to our south on Thursday, bringing a chance of rain to the southern half of the state mainly south of I-70 late in the day. Cooler air moves in with a wind shift to the north on Friday, giving us highs in the low 40s. Over the weekend we bounce back into the lows 50s. Next week looks more active with a chance for precipitation and colder temperatures by Tuesday.
