Remaining quiet across mid-Missouri this week

TUESDAY: High clouds will continue to stream across the area this afternoon, slowly clearing after sunset. Temperatures will be fairly comfortable, in the upper 40s and low 50s.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear overnight with temperatures falling into the low 30s.

EXTENDED: More sunshine on Wednesday with temperatures about where we got to this afternoon, right around 50. Rain chances increase into Thursday as a disturbance moves to our south, so along and south of I-70 look to have better chances at picking up that light rain. It cools down into Friday with highs only reaching the low to mid-40s, but we're back in the 50s by the weekend.

Signals are pointing to a punch of wintry weather early next week, around the Monday/Tuesday time-frame-- more to come on that.
