Warm temperatures greet us Wednesday

THIS AFTERNOON: Sunshine is taking over this afternoon. Temperatures will hang out in the mid-to-upper 50s. Enjoy the nice weather!

TONIGHT: A few more clouds roll in overnight but we stay dry with lows falling to the upper 30s.

EXTENDED: Much of the day Wednesday is dry, but clouds will be increasing early. Rainfall likely won't arrive until after 6 or 7pm. Rainfall amounts will be meager, around 1/3". A rumble of thunder or two is possible as well. Things get tricky on Friday as a secondary low develops in the south central plains. Some models have been showing a stronger storm developing which could lead to snow Friday evening, while other models are showing a weaker storm that gets suppressed by cold air. Friday evening will be a bit of a wild card but should be watched closely. We'll be tracking it!
