Balmy Wednesday followed by steady rain, cooler temperatures

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows in the upper 30s to around 40.

WEDNESDAY: Clouds gradually increase through the day as a warm front lifts north. Expect a breezy day with highs in the mid-60s.

EXTENDED: Showers move in Wednesday night ahead of a cold front and last into Thursday morning. The front moves east early in the day, allowing temperatures to drop off from the upper 50s to the 40s by late afternoon. A second closed low pressure sliding through the region on Friday could trigger another round of light rain, followed by snow showers into Friday night as temperatures drop. Highs on Friday and Saturday will be in the 40s, rebounding back to near 50 for Sunday into early next week.
