Gradually thawing out the rest of the week

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy, not as cold. Lows in the upper 20s.

THURSDAY: Clouds decrease, chilly. Highs in the upper 30s.

EXTENDED: The quiet pattern sticks around through the end of the week into the weekend with temperatures recovering back into the 40s by Friday. Over the weekend, southwest flow aloft will allow even further warming across the region, bringing temperatures back to near 50 for both Saturday and Sunday, continuing into next week. Rain chances remain minimal, with a few sprinkles or spotty showers possible on Sunday. Temperatures remain near average through the middle of next week.
