Gorgeous weekend ahead, another arctic blast to follow

THIS AFTERNOON: Cold weather continues to hold on this afternoon, however winds will turn out of the south slowly the cool down this evening.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear, not as cold. Lows near freezing.

EXTENDED: After a cold start tomorrow temperatures warm quickly thanks to a southwest winds. Afternoon highs will top out near 60. Sunday features another day of nice weather, but an approaching cold front in the afternoon will swing winds back out of the north leading to dropping temperatures throughout the evening hours. Big time cold is forecast to settle in next week. We've issued a Weather Alert Day for Monday night and Tuesday night for how cold we'll get.
