Rain chances this afternoon, colder overnight

TONIGHT: Showers tapering off. Mostly clear skies, lows in the upper 30s. Cold out the door in the morning.

WEDNESDAY: Clouds will be the main feature on Wednesday, along with a steady northwesterly breeze keeping things feeling more like a late-fall day across mid-Missouri. Expect temperatures in the low to mid 50s throughout the day.

EXTENDED: We’re going to start warming up Thursday and Friday, along with seeing a bit more sunshine. By the weekend, a couple of disturbances are poised to push through the area. Expect wave of rain showers Saturday, with a more substantial chance of storms by Sunday. Some medium-range data has indicated the potential of strong storms Sunday night. We will keep a close eye on that chance throughout the rest of the week.
