Tracking frost formation overnight, rain by Friday

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with frost possible for areas along and north of Highway 24. Lows in the mid-upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and pleasant with highs in the mid-60s.

EXTENDED: A Frost Advisory is in effect overnight along and north of Highway 24 where temperatures could drop to around or below 36 degrees. Tomorrow is a great day to be outside with plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid-60s. Friday looks to start off clear as low pressure is trending a bit slower and more southerly, but expect clouds by mid-morning and rain moving in by early afternoon, especially south of I-70. Rain could be a bit more scattered in the evening, with the focus still south of that corridor. On Saturday, we'll have clouds to keep temperatures in the upper 50s with a few light showers around during the day. Moisture begins to surge back into the region on Sunday, bringing a chance for rain. Next week, another front approaches between Monday and Tuesday, bringing a shot at a few storms by Monday night into Tuesday. The severe risk is looking lower compared to 24 hours ago. Combining the weekend rain and early next week, we'll total somewhere around 1-1.5" with slightly higher amounts farther south. Temperatures next week will be slightly below average with highs in the lower 60s.
